Palak, e-CAB, iDEA mourn death of Panna Kaiser

Professor Panna Kaiser, a former Member of Parliament, wife of martyred intellectual Shahidullah Kaiser and mother of President of E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh- e-CAB and Vice-President of FBCCI Shomi Kaiser, died on Friday morning while undergoing treatment at the United Hospital in the capital. Innalilahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun!

The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak expressed deep grief and sorrow over her death. In the condolence message, the state minister sought forgiveness for the departed soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.

Earlier, the E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh- e-CAB expressed deep grief over the death of the deceased. Abdul Waheed Tamal, the General Secretary of the organization, in a condolence message, prayed for the forgiveness for the departed soul and expresses deep condolences to her bereaved family. He said, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant him Jannatul Ferdaus and give strength to the family to bear this grief. Ameen.

Similarly, the establishment of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Academy (iDEA) project under Bangladesh Computer Council has also lamented.

Professor Panna Kaiser taught at Begum Badrunnesa College. She was the Chairman of the presidium of 'Khelaghor', the country's largest children's organization nurtured in the spirit of the liberation war. She was also the President of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Gosthi. Her daughter was also a member of the selection committee of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Academy Establishment (iDEA) project under the Bangladesh Computer Council of the Department of Information and Communication Technology.

She was awarded the 2021 Bangla Academy Literary Award for her contribution for conducting research on the Liberation War.
